Antique Mexican ex-votos Folk art panel

A rare and evocative framed set of eight antique Mexican ex-votos (retablos), each hand-painted on tin and dating from the early 20th century. These devotional offerings were created to give thanks for divine intervention, depicting deeply personal stories of faith, miracles, and survival. Rich in color and narrative, each panel features a vivid painted scene accompanied by handwritten inscriptions in Spanish, detailing the event and the saint being thanked. Hand-painted tin, signed by artist, 1819-1930's. Very good antique condition with age-appropriate wear, minor surface oxidation, and original patina preserved.
