Rustic Swedish two door buffet in original paint circa 1830

This striking two-part antique cupboard showcases a wonderfully timeworn patina in its original painted finish. Swedish, circa early-to-mid 19th century, the cupboard retains its authentic polychrome surface in shades of deep green and ochre, highlighted by shaped panel doors with subtle carved details.

The upper section features a pair of paneled doors opening to interior storage, while the lower cabinet provides additional space behind two matching doors. Richly weathered surfaces and traces of age lend this piece its unique charm, making it ideal for collectors or decorators seeking a true statement piece with historic character.

A perfect addition to a country house, farmhouse kitchen, or eclectic interior, this cupboard offers both decorative presence and functional storage.
