Antique Swedish folk art painted spoon cupboard

This charming Swedish pine wall-hanging spoon cupboard from the Dalarna Region, Late 18th–Early 19th Century showcases its original hand-painted finish and vibrant folky floral design with stylized tulips and geometric motifs in earthy red, green, and ochre tones. Inside are two shelves, likely once used to hold spoons, small objects, or devotional items. Original iron strap hinges and an early hand-forged lock complete the piece, which retains its untouched surface and centuries of patina. A striking example of Scandinavian rural craftsmanship and folk art.
